HONG KONG, July 15 (TNA) – A delegation of Thai students
is participating in the 22nd Primary Mathematics World Contest (PMWC) in Hong
Kong.
Twelve elementary students selected from national-level
contests represent Thailand in the international math competition in Hong Kong
from July 15-19.
Education Ministry officials and their families bid them
farewell as they departed Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport Monday morning.
Thailand has been represented at PMWC for 16 times. The contest which started in 1997 brings
together students aged 13 or under from many countries to the primary school
level contests, consisting individual and team categories.(TNA)
