BANGKOK, Oct 11 (TNA) — Prime Minister/Defense Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and the delegation on Friday will take a field trip to Ubon Ratchathani province to follow up on post-flood rehabilitation, repair, and remedy, and to meet with flood-affected victims to give them moral support, according to Prof Narumon Pinyosinwat, Government Spokesperson.
She said the Prime Minister will observe and inspect implementations according to the rehabilitation plan, waste water management, and assistance provided to the local people, such as repair of houses and public buildings.
He will also inspect river bank erosion at Tha Kok Hae pier in Jae Ra Mae sub-district, Muang district which was caused by swift decrease of water level, and will return to Bangkok the same day. (TNA)
