BANGKOK, Dec 24 (TNA) – The level of fine particles exceeded the safety standard in Bangkok’s 20 districts, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Environment Office reported on Monday morning.
Out of all 50 districts, the level of particulate matter (PM 2.5) is over the safety standard of 50 microgrammes per cubic matter in 20 districts.
Those districts are Samphanthawong, Phaya Thai, Wang Thonglang, Pathumwan, Bangrak, Sathorn, Bang Kho Laem, Yannawa, Chatuchak, Lat Krabang, Thon buri, Bangkok Noi, Phasi Charoen, Phra Nakhon, Klong Toei, Bang Sue, Lak Si, Bang Khen, Bueng Kum and Ratchathewi.
Bangkok residents in the affected areas are advised to reduce or avoid outdoor activity and wear proper masks when they go out. (TNA)
