BANGKOK, May 13 (TNA) — Super Poll has found from its opinion survey on political situations and people’s happiness this month that most respondents think current political situations are affecting the happiness.
Asst Prof Noppadol Kannikar, the Super Poll director, said the survey covered 1,295 people nationwide who were asked for comments on May 1-11.
Of the respondents, 89.9% said present political situations affected people’s happiness while 10.1% did not think so.
He pointed out that 42.6% of the people felt political conflicts grew from those experienced during demonstrations in 2014. Meanwhile, 39.5% thought the conflicts remained at the same level and 17.9% said such conflicts declined.
Asst Prof Noppadol pointed out that the majority of young respondents, 58.1%, said political conflicts were escalating from those in 2014. At the same time, minorities of respondents in other age groups thought so. (TNA)
