SURAT THANI, April 22 (TNA) – Two Australian cyclists are visiting Surat Thani to promote Thailand’s southern destinations in their travel vlog.
Jack Thompson, blogger and sport influencer and Julian Tait Spiller, cameraman are on their journey in Thailand from April 14-29 to vlog their bicycle trip in the Amazing Thailand Coastline Trip activity, supported by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thai Airways International, Perth Office and Perth Airport.
Surat Thani governor, Witchawut Jinto, TAT director of Surat Thani office and local cyclist club members welcomed two visitors and joined their trip today, passing the town along the Tapee River.
They tasted famous local dishes, dim sum and visited Cheow Lan Lake in the Khao Sok national park.
The governor said the duo travelled to Phuket before coming to Surat Thani and their next destination is Nakhon Si Thammarat.
He said he suggested many tourist attractions in Surat Thani, including the Kho Sok national park, hailed as one of the most beautiful national parks in the world by French’s Vogue magazine.
The two cyclists said they had looked for travel information on the internet and decided to stop in Surat Thani to explore places seen on social media, food and people. They would share their experience and recommend Thailand’s trip to Australian cyclists. (TNA)
