LAMPANG, Feb 11 (TNA) – Firefighters and volunteers are working to contain forest fire while the province has been hit by air pollution for several days.
About 75 officials and volunteers have tried to prevent the blaze from Doi Phrabat mountain in Muang district from spreading to residential areas since last night after the fire approached a temple.
Four air quality monitoring stations in the provincial seat and Mae Moh district reported the level of PM 2.5 particulate matter today exceeded the safety standard to around 60-93 microgramme per cubic metre.
The province’s Mae Moh district is the critically– haze hit area. Lampang has been affected by air pollution since Feb 7. (TNA)
