CHIANG RAI, Dec 24 (TNA) – A huge plastic-bottle
Christmas tree is lit up at Singha Park Chiang Rai, a tourist attraction in
Chiang Rai, the northernmost province of Thailand.
The Christmas tree standing 29 meters tall is made of over
100,000 bottles.
Three hundred people took 45 days to make one-of-a-kind
Christmas tree to welcome tourists travelling to the northernmost province.
It is colourfully illuminated, adding to a lively touch to
the picturesque park.
Singha Park Chiang Rai management said after the lighting
ceremony Monday night the Christmas tree would be erected until the end of
January.
The clear bottles will then be recycled to make over 5,000
t-shirts. (TNA)
