SONGKHLA, Jan 18 (TNA) – Songkhla province has tightened border control at Thai-Malaysian border after two more Thai returnees were found to be infected with Covid-18.
The two new cases brought the total cases in the province to seven. Out of all cases, two were local infections and five others arrived from abroad.
Officials have strictly checked travelling in and out of the country, cross-border cargo transportation and illegal border crossings through natural trails.
More officials have been deployed to patrol along the border to prevent Thais and migrant workers from sneaking into the country. (TNA)
