RANONG, Dec 12 (TNA) – More than 700 Thai and Myanmar cyclists on Saturday joined in a two-day friendship cycling between Ranong resort Thai province and Kaw Thaung in Myanmar to further promoting ASEAN sport tourism.
Ranong deputy governor Pornthep Pongsri and Kaw Thaung governor U Nay Oo jointly chaired the opening of the fifth activity which was held at a hot spring in Ranong amid a participation of a large crowd of people from the two neighbouring countries.
On Sunday, the cyclists will cross to Kaw Thaung and then will start riding their bicycles in front of a clock tower, pay respects at a Buddhist temple. On their way back, they will visit two other Buddhist temples before the Thai cyclists return home. (TNA)
