BANGKOK, Aug 15 (TNA) – Two suspects, who were allegedly involved in planting bombs in front of the police headquarters in Bangkok on Aug 1 have been sent to prison in the 11th military circle for security reasons after the court approval for their temporary detention.
Narathiwat natives, Lu-ai Saengae, 22 and Wildan Maha, 29 have been charged with criminal conspiracy, illegal possession of explosives, attempted murder, and illegally carrying weapons.
The duo were arrested on Aug 2 on an interprovincial bus at a checkpoint in Chumphon. They denied all charges.
The police are hunting four more suspects wanted on arrest warrants for their alleged involvement in series of bomb and arson attacks as well as almost 20 others. However, details cannot be disclosed, said the police. (TNA)
