BANGKOK, Aug 6 (TNA) – The suspects, involved in series of bombings in Bangkok on Friday came from southern border provinces, said Deputy Prime Minister Gen. Prawit Wongsuwan.
Investigation has made progress but the details will be disclosed by the police, he said. Meanwhile, the authorities have yet ruled out any possible motives as well as a political one.
More investigation is under way to gather evidence, linking to bombers and the origin of explosions, he said.
Series of explosions occurred at five locations across Bangkok on August 2 at five locations including a government office complex, army headquarters and an electric train station in a business area.
There were neither severe injuries nor deaths in those incidents that happened when Bangkok was hosting the ASEAN Plus Three Foreign Ministers Meeting. (TNA)
