NONTHABURI, May 17 (TNA) — The Department of Intellectual Property will organize IP Fair 2019 late this month to promote the development of intellectual property and related businesses.
Thosapone Dunsuputra, director-general of the department, said the IP Fair 2019 would be organized with the theme of “Grow Your Thoughts” at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Hotel in Bangkok on May 30-31. It was aimed at encouraging invention and its commercial development. He expected the fair would attract at least 5,000 visitors.
According to Mr Thosapone, the IP Fair 2019 will share academic knowledge about intellectual property. The department will hold seminars that will cover all dimensions of intellectual property. There will also be an IP clinic to give advice on intellectual property registration, action on intellectual property violation, patent data and technological trends.
Besides, the fair will include IP services from representatives of intellectual property organizations in Thailand, Japan, European countries and the United States.
In addition, the fair will show off outstanding intellectual property innovations including award-winning entries, introduce universities exceling in intellectual property management and organize business matching. (TNA)
