BANGKOK, Feb 22 (TNA) – The Election Commission (EC) plans to complete printing 56 million ballot papers by March 8 before early and overseas voting.
Krit Auawong, an EC deputy secretary-general said that EC hired two printing houses to produce ballot papers for all 350 constituencies nationwide.
The work will be completed before March 8 and ballots will be sent for electors, having registered for early voting outside their home constituencies and overseas.
He said ballot papers are different in colours in each region. The EC adopts watermarks and undisclosed security features to protect ballots against counterfeiting. (TNA)
