vividly illuminated with festive lights, heralding the start of Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Winter wonderland has been the theme of many tourist spots
in tropical Thailand.
Yasothon province turns its tourist spotlight, Wiman Phaya
Taen, in the city center for a tourism promotion fair.
Tourist attractions in all nine districts of Yasothon are displayed
in multimedia presentations until January 31, highlighting local culture, folk
wisdom and natural wonders.
Thousands of lanterns create vibrant atmosphere with the
spirit of holiday season on Christmas’ Eve.
Christmas spirit is in full swing in the seaside tourist
town of Pattaya. Santa Claus-themed
decorations and outfits are visibly everywhere in the international tourism
hotspot.
It is one of the busiest times of the year in Chiang Mai
City. Shopping malls, hotels and
businesses in the northern city are adorned with blinking starry lights.
Christmas-themed decorations have drawn and uplifted
visitors to night strolls.
Chiang Mai will host a major countdown event as well as
traditional religious rituals to welcome the New Year.
Large crowns are expected to join New Year prayers at
ancient Buddhist temples such as Wat Pra That Doi Suthep and Wat Pra Sing
