BANGKOK, Jan 18 (TNA) – Air pollution Bangkok plus three
nearby remains unhealthy while concerned government authorities have warned people
through several channels to become more careful when going outdoors.
On Saturday morning,
the amount of hazardous dust
particles known as PM 2.5 in almost 50 areas in Bangkok and three neighbouring provinces were measured between 40 – 67 microgrammes per cubic metre, according to
Pollution Control Department.
The three provinces are Nonthaburi, Phatum Thani and Samut Prakan.
Officials in Bangkok have increased their publicity,
warning people about the levels of dust particles through the website www.bangkokairquality.com
and a mobile application “Bangkok Connect”.
