BANGKOK, Dec 21 (TNA) – The Energy Ministry has approved to allocate 10 billion baht during the fiscal year2020 on energy conservation and construction of community power plants.
Kulit Sombatsiri, the energy permanent secretary said the energy fund committee chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak had agreed in Friday’s meeting to allocate 10 billion baht to support various energy projects including R&D for energy conservation and community businesses related to innovative energy.
He said the fund allocation can be divided into three categories.
Half of the total 10 billion baht will be spent on boosting energy efficiency while 47 per cent will be for alternative energy and building community power plants.
The rest of the fund will be allocated to energy management and human resource development. (TNA)
