BANGKOK, Nov 6 (TNA) — Prime Minister/Defence Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha expressed his condolences related to violent attacks in Yala province and condemned attackers as inhumane, government spokesperson Narumon Pinyosinwat said.
Gen Prayut was informed of attacks on several locations in the southern border province where 15 people were killed and four others were injured and he expressed his heartfelt condolences towards the families of the victims, Ms Narumon said.
The prime minister also ordered security and administrative authorities to offer all possible assistance and visit affected people to give moral support and support relevant religious ceremonies, the government spokesperson said.
“This incident is a great loss of Yala province. It was an inhumane act against innocent people. But morale was not shaken. On the contrary, security officials and organizations will work harder. The prime minister gives his moral support to all people and officials. He ordered security organizations to boost local security and quickly arrest culprits to create peace and people’s well-being,” the Ms Narumon said. (TNA)
