BANGKOK, June 20 (TNA) – Thailand’s Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra today met with governors from seven provinces bordering Cambodia, stressing that all sectors must be ready for any unforeseen incidents, even as the government seeks to avoid conflict.
The Premier chaired a meeting at Government House to discuss aid for border residents, including a video conference with governors from Ubon Ratchathani, Sisaket, Surin, Buri Ram, Trat, Chanthaburi, and Sa Kaeo.
Addressing Ministry of Interior officials, the Prime Minister urged them to continue working diligently for the nation. She emphasized the need to ensure the quality of shelters and bunkers, especially those built by residents or constructed quickly, and asked governors to oversee these efforts.
