SONGKHLA, May 14 (TNA) – Traffickers use a Thai postal
truck to conceal 13 illegal workers from Myanmar en route to Malaysia.
The Thai Post mail truck carrying the migrant workers from
Samut Songkram province was stopped on a highway in Songkhla province Monday
night, police said.
All Hindu male workers inside the truck had no travel
documents or IDs.
They entered Thailand via Kanchanaburi province and paid an
unknown amount to traffickers for taking them to Malaysia.
The two Thai drivers confessed of transporting illegal
migrants to Songkhla several times before.
They have been detained for questioning and expected to face charges,
