BANGKOK, Feb 16 (TNA) – The Finance Ministry will start reimbursing money to low-income earners for their utility bills next week.
Suttirat Rattanachot, director general of the Comptroller General’s Department said households, using electricity less than 230 baht and bill for tap water not over 100 baht per month are entitled to receive their money back, provided that they have registered with government concerned agencies.
The financial assistance will be paid on the 18th of every month and will cover the period from last December to September this year.
She said the money will be transferred to their e-Money PromptCards as credit for purchases at Pracharat shops. (TNA)
