SAMUT PRAKAN, Feb 1 (TNA) — The management of Suvarnabhumi airport has launched the Suvarnabhumi Food Guide recommending affordable foods to travelers and other people using the airport.
Deputy Transport Minister Pailin Chuchottaworn presided over the launch ceremony, saying the Suvarnabhumi Food Guide project would promote Thai foods to international travelers and would later be expanded to other airports.
Suvarnabhumi airport general manager Suthirawat Suwanawat said Suvarnabhumi Food Guide responded to the Transport Ministry’s order for foods and beverages at reasonable prices at the airport.
Under the project, operators of restaurants at the airport were asked to introduce dishes with affordable prices. Operators cooperated well with the project, Mr Suthirawat said.
The project offers three categories of foods: 1. Saved Price at 50 baht per meal; 2. Budget Price at 125 baht; and 3. Valued Price at 280 baht.
