SINGAPORE, Nov 14 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha announced his support for the implementation of ASEAN-China partnership strategies for mutual benefits.
Gen Prayut made the announcement in the 21st ASEAN-China Summit at the Suntec Convention Centre, supporting the adoption of the ASEAN-China Strategic Partnership Vision 2030.
On the occasion, he proposed the strategies be implemented together with the Master Plan for ASEAN Connectivity 2025 and the ACMECS Master Plan to pave the way for the establishment of the East Asia Economic Caucus.
Gen Prayut also praised China’s interest in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor and encouraged all parties to promote peace in the South China Sea for the sake of sustainable development.
The prime minister visited Singapore to attend the 33rd ASEAN Summit scheduled on November 13-15. (TNA)
