KAMPHAENG PHET, Sept 20 (TNA) – Police have investigated the scene as the father’s murder of his two-year-old child shocks the community.
In a heart-wrenching case that has sent shockwaves through the community, a father and a mother were found to have severely abused their 2-year-old daughter to the point of her tragic demise. They then decided to conceal her body by burying her in cement behind their home in Kamphaeng Phet province.
This horrifying incident stems from a rescue operation on Sept 10, where social media advocate Kanthat Pongpaiboonvej, alias Kan Chompalang intervened to save two other children, ages 12 and 4, who were being brutally assaulted by their father.
Initially, the father managed to flee, but police pursued him and uncovered a gruesome truth. He had not only killed his 2-year-old daughter but had also hidden her remains under a thick layer of cement in their backyard in Kamphaeng Phet province. This horrifying act has escalated the case into a major criminal investigation.
Local law enforcement from Pang Makha Police Station in Khanu Woralaksaburi District, Kamphaeng Phet, conducted an examination at the spot where the young child’s body was buried. They discovered that the body had been buried under approximately 5 centimeters of cement, which required tools to break through. The body put in a black bag had been buried at a depth of 60-70 centimeters and was surrounded by layers of soil, garbage, and san. The condition of the body had deteriorated to the point of decomposition, suggesting that the child had been deceased for at least four months.
The father, identified as “Mr. Em,” admitted to killing his daughter in Bangkok before transporting the body to Kamphaeng Phet for burial between August 9 and 11.
Following the parents’ confession and the discovery of the burial site, authorities quickly arranged for their return to Bangkok for further prosecution, as over 100 residents, upon learning of the news, had gathered at the scene, expressing their outrage and intent to confront the culprits. Officials successfully maintained control of the situation. (TNA)
