NAKHON Si THAMMARAT, July 27 (TNA) – Thailand’s renowned rock star Athiwara Khongmalai or “Toon Bodyslam” on Saturday hit the road again in his charity run for a distance of 10 kilometres to raise funds for a hospital in a southern district of Nakhon Si Thammarat province.
Accompanied by his girlfriend and several runners, ‘Toon’ ran under the charitable project called ‘Khanom Life Saving’ to raise money for procurement of medical equipment for Khanom Hospital.
The number of patients is on the increase while the hospital needs major renovation and additional medical equipment.
Donations reached two million baht while local textile trader, Jimmy Chawala gave another one million baht to the charity run for the hospital. (TNA)
