BANGKOK, June 19 (TNA) – Ten students were injured as a crane at a construction site collapsed onto a building of Assumption Convent School in Bangkok’s Bang Rak district late Wednesday morning.
Seven students were rushed to Lertsin Hospital while three others were sent to Saint Louis Hospital, said Phonthep Sae-Heng, chief of the city’s Erawan medical emergency centre after the report of the crane collapse in Soi Charoen Krung 36.
Director of Lertsin Hospital, Dr. Sompong Tanjariyaporn said that one student, hit in the head was unconscious but has already regained consciousness and put under medical surveillance.
Three students, who were slightly injured in the accident were discharged from hospital.
Three others remain in hospital for wound treatment. (TNA)
