BANGKOK, May 10 (TNA) – The Government Lottery Office advises vendors how to check lottery tickets after many vendors fell victims to the gang, using forged winning lottery tickets to claim prizes from them.
Sirimon Damrongrak, a vendor in the market in Kanchanaburi’s Thong Pha Phum district filed complaint to the police that a man presented falsified a winning lottery ticket to collect the second prize worth 200,000 baht at her shop.
She offers a reward of 10,000 baht to anyone, who can give a tip-off, leading to an arrest of the culprit.
The police have gathered evidence and sent a letter to the Government Lottery Office to identify the fake lottery ticket, submitted by the vendor, so they can seek an arrest warrant for the suspects.
