BANGKOK, April 30 (TNA) – A French embassy official has
been found dead after jumping off a Skytrain station in Bangkok.
The Bangkok-based French diplomat was seen arriving at the
Taksin Skytrain station in Yannawa district Monday evening shortly before the
incident, said local police.
Emergency response team performed life-saving procedure but
failed to save his life.
Police found his embassy ID card bearing the name of Arnaud,
Jean-Claude Dubus, a deputy information officer, aged 56.
The French Embassy has been alerted of the incident but
there was no comment from the embassy as police are investigating the apparent
suicide case. (TNA)
