BANGKOK, Dec 21 (TNA) – Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s
Environment Department warns Bangkok residents in 19 districts of polluted
haze.
The concentration levels of PM 2.5, airborne particulate
matters reached 56-103 microgram per cubic meter (µg/m³) in 19 districts over
the safety standard at 50 µg/m³.
Nineteen districts are Samphanthawong, Phaya Thai.
Wangthonglang, Pathumwan, Bangrak, Sathorn, Bang Kho Laem, Yan Nawa, Lat
Krabang, Thonburi, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok Noi, Phasi Charoen, Bangsue, Laksi, Bang
Khen, Bueng Kum, Bang Khun Thian and Ratchathewi.
People are advised to reduce outdoor activity if
they develop health problems such as coughing, difficult breathing and eye
irritation.
Children, the elderly and patients with respiratory
diseases should wear masks if needed. (TNA)
