BANGKOK, Dec 3 (TNA) — The National Legislative Assembly is preparing to organise a tourist promotion campaign called “We Care For You” to rejuvenate Chinese tourists to Thailand.
NLA President Pornphetch Wichitcholchai said “We Care About You” is scheduled to be held on January 20, 2019 around Muang Thong Thani Lake to promote the tourism industry particularly the Chinese tourists.
The highlight of the event will be a world record breaking attempt to create the largest sticky rice with mango dish. It is reported that 1,500 kg of sticky rice, 2,300 kg of coconut milk and 5,000 mangoes equivalent to 1,000 kg will be prepared for the challenge.
The overall weigh is approximately 5,000 kg and the Guinness World Records will be present to witness the attempt.
Invitations have been sent to more than 10,000 Chinese guests and the event will be telecast live via Modernnine TV and other online media sources.
The guest of honor for the event will be Ms Phromwily Lisiriroj, more popularly known as ‘Mimi Lee,’who won a singing contest in China. She has been asked to help promote the event due to her popularity among the Chinese public.
The priority of the event is to reassure international tourist, and Chinese tourists in particular, that the Thai people values their visitations and place the highest priority in ensuring their safety and wellbeing. (TNA)
