BANGKOK, Nov 18 (TNA) – Over 300 Thai and Japanese
business representatives attend a seminar of Small- and Medium-Enterprise (SME)
promotion in Bangkok.
The Thailand Branch Office of Tokyo SME Support Center
organized the seminar Bangkok on Monday, in collaboration with Thailand’s
Ministry of Industry.
Focusing on potential strategic partnership between Thailand
and Japan, the seminar was aimed to provide support to Tokyo-based SMEs seeking
to expand their businesses in Thailand and beyond.
Director of Thailand’s Department of Industrial Promotion
Nattapol Rangsitpo said Japan remained the largest investor in Thailand with
registered investment project worth nearly THB60 billion in the first nine
month of this year.
The seminar provided opportunities of both countries to work
to expand business network in Thailand and other ASEAN nations, he said. (TNA)
