BANGKOK, Oct 4 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha received anti-COVID drugs donated by the German government.
Georg Schmidt, German ambassador to Thailand, delivered 2,000 units of the anti-COVID-19 drug for patients with mild and moderate symptoms to contain their illness. Besides, the German government is in the process of delivering 346,100 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine made by AstraZeneca which will arrive mid this month.
Thailand and Germany agreed that both shared common potential in many dimensions and could increase the exchange of mutual benefits. Thailand is ready to facilitate the cooperation and invite German investors to increase their investment.
Besides, Thailand emphasizes the benefits of skill development among workers and Germany has responded by supporting the establishment of skill development schools in Thailand. (TNA)
