BANGKOK, June 21 (TNA) – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) allows eight kinds of business and activities to either resume or operate with less restriction today including restaurants, convenience stores and supermarkets.
The relaxed measures take effect on
- public swimming pools
- ponds used for sports and water activities
- art galleries, learning centers and science centers for education
- public and private libraries
- restaurants and beverage shops where customers are allowed to dine in until 11pm, alcoholic consumption is banned, and the use of seat capacities is limited at 50% in air-conditioned premises
- sports fields, outdoors exercise venues and well ventilated indoor stadiums which can open until 9pm and host sports competitions without spectators
- convenience stores and supermarkets operating in their normal hours
- meetings, seminars, gatherings for food and necessity handouts, parties, filming camps and TV production sessions allowed to involve no more than 50 people; and those with more people required to have permission from local district offices for gatherings of 51-500 people and from the BMA’s Department of Health for gatherings of more than 500 people.
