BANGKOK, Oct 15 (TNA) — The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on Thursday reported 13 COVID-19 cases including 10 quarantined arrivals and two Myanmar truck drivers and a student who have already been sent home.
The new cases include a 33-year-old Syrian physician who travelled from Lebanon.
A 27-year-old Thai woman who had arrived from the Netherlands.
A 31-year-old Thai woman who returned from Italy.
Three Thai soldiers, aged 33, 46 and 53, returned from the UN mission in South Sudan.
A 66-year-old Ethiopian man, who arrived in Thailand for medical treatment.
Two of the arrivals from Myanmar are men, chefs aged 41 and 52, and the other a hotel worker, 58, all are Thais.
Two Myanmar truck drivers, 35 and 42 while a 36-year-old Myanmar student were found positive at the border screening checkpoint. All three were returned to their country.
Meanwhile, six Covid-19 patients have recovered and discharged.
The total number of confirmed cases in Thailand has risen to 3,665, of whom 143 are in hospital and 3,463 have recovered and discharged. The death toll remains unchanged at 59. (END)
