BANGKOK, Aug 21 (TNA) — The Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration said today that Thailand logged one case of the coronavirus disease 2019 who was in quarantine.
The only new case was a Thai male office/factory worker aged 56. He arrived from Singapore on August 7 and were quarantined in Chon Buri province. He tested positive for COVID-19 on the second test on August 18 but showed no symptoms. He was on the same flight as three previously confirmed cases.
The total cases rose to 3,390. Of the total cases, 3,219 recovered including one who was released from the hospital over the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, 113 patients were at hospitals. There were no new death cases and the death toll remained unchanged at 58. (TNA)
