BANGKOK, Aug 3 (TNA) – The Royal Thai Army has opened a screening and isolation center at the Army Club where people can seek COVID-19 tests and see doctors.
Army spokesman Lt Gen Santipong Thammapiya said the army together with the Public Health Ministry, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and private organizations set up the center on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road where COVID-19 cases could be confirmed and referred to treatment facilities.
The center provided comprehensive services including COVID-19 tests, the classification of patients, initial treatment, referrals for proper treatment and isolation services with 96 beds for patients pending hospital admission.
People can book their visits to the screening and isolation center one day in advance through the QueQ app from 8am to 6pm. Registrants were required to present their ID cards on the date of their appointment. The center is capable of serving about 1,000 people a day. (TNA)
