BANGKOK, May 18 (TNA) – People aged 18-59 years can register for COVID-19 vaccination from May 31 onwards.
People in the age range can register through the Mor Prom app and the Mor Prom account in the Line chat app. Besides, they can seek vaccination at the hospitals of their welfare right and at walk-in vaccination venues as announced by their provincial authorities.
Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said walk-in vaccination was not aimed at letting other people jump queue ahead of Mor Prom registrants. Walk-in vaccination would serve Mor Prom registrants who could not show up for inoculation as scheduled, he said.
So far, 6.9 million people registered for the vaccination via Mor Prom and local hospitals. They are 60 years old and over or patients with seven groups of chronic diseases.
As of May 16, people received 2.2 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines comprising 1.4 million doses of the first jabs and 780,000 doses of the second jabs. (TNA)
