TRANG, Dec 9 (TNA) – A tropical island off the coast of the southern Trang province welcomes visitors to its watermelon tasting season.
Koh Sukorn or pig island – not known for pig like the name suggests – is home to over 100 watermelon farmers.
Now their first of three harvests of the season is ready, including seedless watermelons for which the island is famous for.
Unlike watermelons of others, Koh Sukorn’s boasts nice aroma and unique texture, the farmers said.
Visitors are invited to enjoy the fresh produce from organic farming as well as the rural lifestyle of the islanders. (TNA)
