BANGKOK, Nov 26 (TNA) – Japan External Trade Organization
(JETRO) has launched JETRO Innovation Program in Thailand to encourage Japanese
start-ups to expand their business in the country.
Seven Japanese start-ups participated in the “JETRO
Innovation Program” held for the second year to present business
opportunities focusing on technology and elderly care.
JETRO Bangkok President Atsushi Taketani said Thailand
remained an attractive in the eyes of Japanese investors after over 5,000
Japanese companies had made their presence in the Kingdom.
Digital technology and health care were considered up and
coming businesses in Thailand market, Taketani said.
Thailand was regarded as one of the largest digital
technology markets in ASEAN with rapid growth of FinTech, he added. (TNA)
