BANGKOK, July 23 (TNA) – Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the
Queen Mother was admitted to hospital for a treatment of fever on Sunday, said
the Royal Household Bureau in its statement, released on Monday.
The 86-year-old Queen Mother developed a fever and a
cough. She was admitted to King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. A medical examination and and lab tests showed
she had respiratory tract infection.
The team of doctors has administered
antibiotic medication for the Queen Mother.
Her overall condition has been improved. She recovered
well from the fever and now has a good appetite. The doctors advised
her to remain in the hospital under close care for a while. (TNA)
