BANGKOK, June 11 (TNA) – Prime Minister Gen. Prayut
Chan-ocha attended the ceremony acknowledge the Royal Command for him to be the premier at Government House.
He is Thailand’s 29th Prime Minister,
serving the second tenure.
In his remarks on the occasion of his swearing-in ceremony
as Prime Minister, he said he would perform my duty in accordance with His
Majesty’s proclamation.
He affirmed he would dedicate himself to public service
with honesty and integrity in pursuit of the greater good of the country and
the people of Thailand.
He would listen to the voices of the people while
fulfilling his duty to move forward and develop the country in all economic and
social aspects including eradicating corruption, reducing inequality and
elevating the welfare of the people, especially those in agricultural and
commerce sectors.
He would improve the capability of our human resources and
provide opportunities for the younger generation to participate in national
development in order to ensure national advancement into the digital era. (TNA)
