BANGKOK, April 17 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha led cabinet ministers to plant a Yellow Star sapling, presented by His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun.
Before the cabinet’s meeting, Gen Prayut and cabinet ministers grew the Yellow Star plant, received from His Majesty the King at the lawn in front of the Thai Khu Fah Building, Government House.
On April 15, His Majesty the King gave the plants to the prime minister and governors of 77 provinces for the One-Province-One-Road project, initiated to honor the coronation this year.
Yellow Star plants will be grown on an important or symbolic road of each province to give shade and improve views along the roads.
Yellow Star represents King Rama X and symbolizes prosperity. (TNA)
