BANGKOK, Dec 11 (TNA) – Contestants in the Miss Universe pageant have met Thai Prime Minister at Government House today as the final round of the contest is scheduled for next Monday.
Ninety-five contestants were welcomed by Tourism and Sports Minister Weerasak Kowsurat when they arrived.
The prime minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-ocha said the government fully supports the organizing of the Miss Universe 2018 in Thailand and Thai people as the hosts welcome all contestants.
It is a good opportunity that people around the world see the beautiful places in Thailand through the competition and the final round will be live broadcast to global audience.
He said he wishes all of them do their best in representing their countries and good luck.
They took a group photo with the prime minister and took a tour inside the Thai Koo Fah building. (TNA)
