BANGKOK, March 28 (TNA) – Prime Minister Gen. Prayut
Chan-ocha advised public members to avoid excessive political news consumption that
could produce stress.
People are now following the news updates on the
formation of a coalition government in the aftermath of the election while the
Election Commission has not announced the official voting results.
The prime minister is concerned over people’s mental
health, said Col. Athisit Chainuwat, assistant government spokesman.
The premier asked for cooperation from media members
to present news properly to reduce stress among people.
In the meantime, Thailand is preparing to hold the
royal coronation ceremony, starting from next month.
The prime minister wants people to be happy and
united in peace and to respect others with different views. He does not want people
to be involved in disputes over politics, which could lead to confusion and
endless conflicts.
He advised people to manage their time wisely with
moderate news consumption and to have enough rest and good workouts. (TNA)
