BANGKOK, March 16 (TNA) – The Thai embassy in Wellington warned Thai tourists and Thais, residing in New Zealand to take extra cautions of terrorism following attacks on two mosques which killed at least 49 persons and wounded more than 40 others on Friday.
The embassy’s statement said Thai people, especially those residing in Christchurch should follow further developments and to strictly follow instructions, issued by the authorities as the situation is still sensitive and the level of danger from terrorism is considered high.
Those, who will depart Christchurch, are advised to spare more time because passengers’ belongings will be checked more strictly by airport officials. (TNA)
