BANGKOK, DEC 21 (TNA) – Nearly 100 industrial enterprises
win Prime Minister’s Industry Award 2018 for outstanding contribution to
Thailand’s industrial development.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha presented 92 awards to
private businesses in the 26th Prime Minister’s Industry Award on Thursday.
The Ministry of Industry has selected award recipients in
order to recognize their creativity and full commitment to the national
industrial development.
Winner of the top award, Prime Minister’s Best Industry
Award, is Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd.
Fifty other awards are given to industrial manufacturers
while 41 enterprises were awarded Small and Medium Industries Management Award.
Prayut in his congratulatory message said the awardees had
shown their commitment in producing high-quality industrial products with
awareness on customer satisfaction and environment protection.
The Prime Minister’s Best Industry Award was established in
1993 to recognize and honor most outstanding in business operations proved
beneficial to the society and the economy of Thailand.
The aim is to encourage their improvement as the role model
for others to emulate. (TNA)
