BANGKOK, Dec 8 (TNA) – Bangkok police direct traffic and provide security Saturday around the Equestrian Statue of King Chulalongkorn as the final rehearsal of Oon Ai Rak Klay Kwam Nao festival is held.
The festival is being organised for a second consecutive year and will be held from December 9 to next January 19.
Assistant national police chief, Police Lieutenant General Piya Utayo said people wishing to attend the festival are invited to dress in either Thai traditional costume or dress politely and to also carry their identification cards.
Foreigners are requested to carry their passports and show them to authorities before entering the festival site.
Those travelling with their cars can park them at the Dusit Zoo, Bangkok Turf Club, at former national lottery bureau office or at the National Stadium. Visitors can also travel to the site by shuttle bus or by buses of the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority free of charge. (TNA)
