BANGKOK, June 17 (TNA) – The Bangkok Metropolitan Adminsitration (BMA) ordered 437 schools under its administration to prepare disease control measures for the reopening of the new school semester on July 1.
Silapasuay Raweesangsoon, BMA Permanent Secretary said the BMA ordered all schools to work with district offices in cleaning of school premises and seat arrangement in classrooms and cafeterias to comply with one –metre physical distancing rule.
Table shields must be installed and body temperature checkpoints will be set up at school entrances.
Each school is required to register with the Thai Chana platform for all school visitors to check in and check out. Adequate alcohol-based hand sanitizers will be provided to students, teachers and staff.
The preparation has been made since June 1. The BMA permanent secretary said that the preventive measures against Covid-19 put in place would ensure the schools were ready for reopening. (TNA)
