BANGKOK, Oct 29 (TNA) – Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-ocha will chair a cabinet retreat in Kanchanaburi on Nov 12.
Deputy government spokesperson Ratchada Thanadirek said Gen. Prayut will lead cabinet members to a field visit in Ratchaburi and Kanchanaburi on Nov 11-12.
Starting his trip on Nov 11, the prime minister will travel to inspect logistics system of a planned highway, linking Bang Khunthian to the Wang Manao Intersection in Ratchaburi.
He will give financial aid to representatives of farmers under the cost reduction project at the Ratchaburi Provincial Administrative Organization. He will go to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market to follow up progress in development of tourism routes along canal networks.
He will later travel to Kanchanaburi province to observe the project to regulate the rafts along Kwai Yai and Kwai Noi rivers and to open a new housing project for local people.
He will later visit the 83-year-old paper mill, planned to be developed into a community center and will join locals to launch a Krathong banana leaf basket at Khun Paen pier for the celebration of the Loy Krathong candle light festival.
On Nov 12, Gen Prayut will chair a cabinet retreat at Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University and a meeting on the economic and social development of the lower central provincial cluster (Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi and Suphan Buri).
