BANGKOK, Oct 30 (TNA) – Prime Minister and Defense Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha gave negative pressure chambers to four neighbouring countries under the ASEAN military medical cooperation to handle the coronavirus pandemic.
The handover ceremony was presided over by the Thai prime minister at the defense ministry on Friday.
Military attachés of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Malaysia received mobile isolation rooms for Covid-19 patients from Thailand.
The Thai military top brass also attended the ceremony.
The Cabinet earlier approved that the Thai Defense Ministry supported fund to the ASEAN Center of Military Medicine (ACMM) for the project to boost cooperation on military medicine with neighbouring countries. (TNA)
