BANGKOK, Aug 13 (TNA) – Hong Kong airport has resumed its services for flights of all airlines today.
The Thai consulate-general in Hong Kong wrote on its Facebook page this morning that the management Hong Kong airport announced the resumed operation and advised concerned parties to check latest situations at the airport at https://www.hongkongairport.com/en/.
The Thai consulate-general also reported that Thai travelers who were stranded at the airport started to board their flights heading for Thailand. They had been stranded as their flights were cancelled yesterday.
The first the flights bound for Thailand included one of Hong Kong Airlines scheduled at 6.55am and another of Cathay Pacific at 8.55am Thai Airways International operated its flight TG601 at 12.45pm.
The Thai consulate-general advised Thai travelers to check the status of their flights with their airlines and arrive at Hong Kong airport early because a large number of passengers had been stranded. The consulate-general was offering help through its phone numbers (+852) 6821 1545 and (+852) 6821 1546. (TNA)
